Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy explains when refunds may or may not be available for paid NUppel website plans, renewals, domain transactions, and related billing events.

Last updated: March 26, 2026

14 days for the first purchase only

A limited 14-day refund window applies only to the initial purchase of a new paid website plan.

Renewals and upgrades are excluded

Auto-renewals, manual renewals, plan upgrades, add-ons, and similar later charges are treated as non-refundable by default.

Domain costs are protected

Domain purchases, renewals, transfers, and registrar-processed domain requests are generally non-refundable.

Abuse protections apply

Chargebacks, plan hopping, repeated refund behavior, or other abuse patterns may lead to refund denial and account review.

scope

1. Introduction and scope

This policy defines the refund and cancellation rules for paid NUppel website plans, renewals, domain actions, and certain related paid services.

This policy intentionally separates cancellation from refund. Cancellation stops a future renewal; refund refers to the return of money already charged under limited conditions.

This policy does not override non-waivable consumer rights that may apply under mandatory law. At the same time, the existence of such rights does not mean every payment is automatically refundable.

core-policy

2. Core refund principle

NUppel's default model is a limited refund window only for the initial purchase of a new paid website plan.

For the initial purchase of a new paid website plan, you may request a refund within 14 days of the purchase date. This window is not intended to support repeated trial-and-refund behavior.

Outside that initial window, charges are treated as non-refundable unless they involve a billing mistake, a duplicate charge, or a clearly failed provisioning event.

Billing / renewal

The 14-day refund window applies only to the first purchase of a new website plan and does not extend to renewals, upgrades, or similar follow-on charges.

eligible-first-purchase

3. Eligible new plan purchases

Refund eligibility is limited to the first purchase of a new paid website plan.

  • An initial monthly or annual purchase of a paid website plan may qualify for this window.
  • Repeated attempts to recreate a first purchase through related accounts, payment methods, or organizations may be denied.
  • Reactivation, repurchase after cancellation, repeat use, or similar reset behavior is not assumed to be eligible by default.
  • Sequential purchases designed to create recurring trial-like refund access may be treated as abuse.

non-refundable-items

4. Non-refundable charges

Unless required otherwise by law or explicitly stated by NUppel in writing, the following are treated as non-refundable.

  • Auto-renewal and manual renewal charges
  • Plan upgrade charges, mid-cycle plan difference charges, and similar billing adjustments
  • Add-ons, extra capacity, premium support, or other attached paid extras
  • Email, mailbox, connected communication services, or similar attached services, where offered or activated
  • Custom setup, migration, concierge, or done-for-you services once work has started or cost has been incurred
  • Third-party provisioning or integration charges where outside cost has already been created
  • Any expectation of prorated refunds for unused portions of prepaid or longer-term service

monthly-yearly

5. Monthly and annual plan treatment

Both monthly and annual plans follow the same core logic: the initial purchase may have a limited window, but there is no default prorated refund afterwards.

Annual plans may still qualify for the initial 14-day first-purchase window. After that point, unused remaining months do not create an automatic prorated refund right.

Monthly plans follow the same principle: beyond the initial first-purchase window, cancellation affects future billing but does not create a prorated refund for the current billing period.

Billing / renewal

No-prorata means that unused days, weeks, or months in an active paid term do not automatically convert into a partial refund.

domain-purchases

6. Domain purchases, renewals, and transfers

Domain-related transactions are treated more strictly because they usually create registrar or registry cost immediately.

Domain purchases, domain renewals, domain transfers, and domain requests that have already entered registrar or registry processing are generally non-refundable.

If a domain order never completes due to a technical failure on our side or a partner provisioning failure, the related domain charge may be eligible for refund review. Once a domain has been registered, reserved, processed, or transferred into an external workflow, refund rights generally do not arise.

Domain / third party

Domain processing depends on registrar, registry, and technical provisioning rules, which is why domain charges are treated separately from general plan refunds.

included-domain

7. If a free or included domain was part of the plan

If a plan included a free, discounted, voucher-based, or bundled domain benefit, that benefit does not remain cost-free after a refunded plan by default.

  • If a refunded plan included a domain, the domain cost may be deducted from the refund total.
  • If the domain was not billed separately, the domain may be suspended, disconnected, or otherwise removed from the refunded plan benefit set.
  • A promotional, voucher-based, or included domain does not automatically remain with you at no cost after a plan refund.
  • Any connected third-party domain expense may also be deducted, preserved, or excluded from the refunded amount where applicable.

Important

This section exists specifically to avoid a result where the plan is refunded but the domain cost remains permanently absorbed by NUppel.

billing-errors

8. Billing errors and duplicate charges

Technical billing mistakes are handled separately from the general no-refund rule.

These exceptions do not create a broad refund right. They are limited to genuine billing mistakes, duplicate charges, or clear technical failures.

  • A clearly duplicated charge or incorrect amount may be corrected or refunded.
  • If a payment was charged twice because of a technical error, the excess amount may be reversed after review.
  • If a domain or other third-party provisioning request never completes but a charge was still taken, that item may be reviewed as a failed provisioning exception.

chargebacks-abuse

9. Chargebacks, fraud, and abuse

The refund process may not be used to pressure, exploit, or bypass the billing system.

  • Where possible, you should contact support first so the issue can be reviewed before escalating externally.
  • Repeated refund attempts, plan hopping, use-then-refund behavior, or other abuse indicators may result in refund denial.
  • Improper chargebacks, payment abuse, or fraud signals may lead to account review, service restriction, or access termination.
  • Identity inconsistencies, unauthorized payment concerns, or fraud-related signals may require extra verification before any billing request is resolved.

cancel-vs-refund

10. Cancellation versus refund

Cancellation and refund are different actions and should not be treated as interchangeable.

Cancellation stops the next scheduled billing cycle from renewing. By itself, cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current period.

Refund means that money already collected is returned under a narrow set of conditions. An approved refund may also accelerate the removal of premium benefits tied to the refunded service.

Important

In a normal cancellation, access may continue until the current billing period ends. In an approved refund, refunded premium benefits may be removed sooner.

post-cancel-access

11. Access and publishing after cancellation or refund

Normal cancellation and approved refund can lead to different access outcomes.

  • In a normal cancellation, premium benefits generally remain active until the end of the current billing cycle, and the next renewal is not charged.
  • At the end of that cycle, premium publishing rights, premium-only features, and plan-based advantages may be limited or removed.
  • If a refund is approved, the premium service, publishing status, or plan advantage associated with that refund may be withdrawn earlier.
  • A refund does not guarantee ongoing full dashboard access, permanent storage, or indefinite continued use of premium-connected project state; any remaining access will depend on the then-available inactive or free experience.

data-export

12. Data, content, and export expectations

This refund policy does not independently create new retention or export promises beyond other platform rules.

A cancellation or refund request does not automatically mean that data will be preserved for a specific separate timeline or that every item will always remain exportable in the same way.

Questions about retention, account lifecycle, or export behavior should be read together with the Privacy Policy and the product experience actually available at the time.

how-to-request

13. How to request a refund

Refund or billing-correction requests must be submitted through a written support channel.

You may submit the request through help@nuppel.com. We may ask for additional verification, invoice details, or payment evidence where appropriate.

  • The email address tied to the account
  • The relevant site or project information
  • The relevant payment, invoice, or billing period
  • A short explanation of the request
  • Any related domain, order, duplicate-charge, or technical-failure context

review-timeline

14. Review and payout timing

Refund requests are reviewed rather than instantly approved, and payout timing can vary.

Requests may be evaluated using billing records, technical logs, provisioning state, and the limited exceptions described in this policy. If approved, refunds are generally returned to the original payment method where possible.

Banking and payment network timelines vary, so this policy does not promise that every approved refund will complete within one fixed number of business days.

changes

15. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy over time, and the latest version may become effective when posted on the platform.

  • Where appropriate, material updates may also be communicated by email or in-product notice.
  • The date shown near the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
